M.B. College is founded in the beloved memory of Late Shraddheya Muneshwar Bux Singh, under the auspices of the M.B Educational Society, who was a dedicated social worker and reformer. M.B. College is run by some active laborious and dutiful reformers of the society. The aim of this institution is to impart Knowledge to the children in healthy and harmonious environment. It provides active education by establishing the fact that the child is not in the brain only to be furnished with ready maxims, but a complete human being who's physical, mental & moral facilities have to be developed by spontaneous and free activities.

We are dedicated to impart quality education based on modern need of students in shaping their future. For the development of students in their future career, this school will not only impart education but emphasis corporate activity in character building by making each student mentally alert, physically well fit emotionally well balanced & intellectually survive. THE FORMATIVE PRE-PRIMARY YEARS-LEARNING THROUGH ACTIVITIES


Attitude towards life and learning are both formed in every childhood. The content of education of a young child greatly determines his mind set and ultimately his future success. Inactive as well active minds are both nurtured in every childhood. Through the environments of possibilities and opportunities, we provide them a harmonious environment and nourish-their imagination and develop their self-esteem. The Montessori Method is practiced in pre-primary classes. From the beginning, children are given the opportunity to work independently as in groups, make decisions. To manage their time and develop strong communication and academic skills. These skills, along with the sense of social responsibility, respect for others, an awareness of one's own value and uniqueness will last a lifetime.

SPECIAL FEATURES

The college provides education for both girls and boys from Play Group to XII.


Medium of Instruction: Teaching is conducted in English and stress is laid on fluency and command in written and spoken English.

Sections: The College is divided into five distinct sections:-
⦿ Pre-primary – Play Group to K.G.
⦿ Primary – Class I to V
⦿ Middle – Class VI to VIII
⦿ Secondary Section – IX & X
⦿ Senior Secondary Section – XI –XII

COURSES OF STUDY AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

⦿ Class I to X: General education in all subjects as laid down by CBSE Board.

⦿ Class XI to XII: Students can opt for science stream or commerce stream.

⦿ CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: Besides academic courses, the school provides due importance to the co-curricular activities like Arts, Dramatics, Debates, Elocution etc. for all round development of the students.

⦿ Games & Sports: The institution has a large playground and adequate sports facilities. Several indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available for students of different age groups.

⦿ Hobbies: The College also offers Hobby facility to all the students Hobby Classes are held as per schedule.

⦿ Physical & Health Education: For physical fitness regular training is imparted to develop healthy habits. College gives special attention to Yoga programme. Children get strong will power and concentration through yoga.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

The following procedure is to be adopted for admission in various classes:


⦿ Candidates seeking admission should first submit application for registration on the prescribed printed form available in the school office along with prospectus on cash payment.

⦿ Advance notice of the date on which a particular student will be interviewed will be displayed on the school Notice Board and should be seen there. No separate notice will be sent to anyone for this purpose.

⦿ The name of the candidates selected would be displayed on the Notice Board and admission card will be issued to them along with the details of fees and other charges to be deposited by them in the college office.

⦿ The candidate should report to the class teacher mentioned in the admission card along with a copy of receipt for payment of fees and other charges and original copy of the last school leaving certificate.

⦿ The class teacher will permit the candidate to attend only after she/he ensures that the fees and other payments and school leaving certificate have been deposited by the candidate.

⦿ In no case the class teacher will allow any new or old student to attend classes unless the fees and other dues have been deposited and a note to that affect made by her/him in her/his register.

⦿ Selected candidates must join within the date specified, failing which, the seat will be given to the next candidate on the waiting list.

⦿ Application only which are complete in all respects will be considered. Incomplete application will be summarily rejected.

⦿ Applications not submitted within the date prescribed for submission will not be accepted.

⦿ The principal may reject any application without assigning any reason and in all matters pertaining to admission, the decision of the Principal will be final.

⦿ Old students must report on the very first day on which the session starts in the month of April. If they do not join on the due date, the seats will be given to the new applicants seeking admission. The name of the old student, who fails to turn up on the opening day of the school at the commencement of the new session, will be struck off the rolls and it will not be possible to accommodate such student if he/she turns up afterwards as the seat would have already been given to a new applicant. Old students who cannot join on the required date for some unavoidable reason, must deposit all the fees payable and submit an application to the principal stating the circumstances under which he/she is not able to do so.

FEE RULES

⦿ The amount of the fees charged at the time of admission is not refundable.
⦿ Fee is charged for the full academic year irrespective of the date of admission.
⦿ Parents/Guardians are expected to automatically pay the instalments punctually latest by the 10th day of the month in which they are due.
⦿ If the monthly fee is not deposited till 10th of the current month, fee will be deposited with late fee of Rs. 10 up to 15th of the month, Rs. 20 up to 20th of the month & Rs. 30 up to 30th of the month.
⦿ If fee is not deposited till end of the month, late fee of Rs. 100 will be charged in the next month.
⦿ If the fee is not deposited till the end of next month, the student’s name will be struck off from the register & Rs. 250 will be charged as re-admission fee.
⦿ If any student appears in the mid-session, he has to pay fees for the full year and conveyance fee will be charged from the date of admission.
⦿ The student who pays the annual fee in one instalment at the time of admission will get a concession of 5%.
⦿ Parents will have to bring fee card on fee day otherwise your fee will not be deposited.
⦿ Fee once deposited will not be refunded.

WITHDRAWALS

⦿ A student can be asked to leave the school on the following grounds:

⦿ Indiscipline

⦿ Unsatisfactory progress in academics.

⦿ Irregularity in the college.

⦿ Failing twice in the same class.

⦿ Non-payment of fees

All dues have to be cleared before a Transfer Certificate is issued. Tuition fee for the full session during which a student is withdrawn shall have to be paid on withdrawal of student.

GENERAL RULES

1. The child shall not leave the school premises till school is over.
2. The student who has been absent on the previous day without leave application, will but be allowed the class unless permission is granted by the principal.
3. A student must submit a medical certificate if he/she is absent due to illness for a considerable span of time.
4. Student falling short of attendance, (Less than 75%) will not be allowed to appear in the final examination.
5. Students will not be allowed to appear in the examination unless all dues are cleared.
6. Remarks in the school diary should be checked & signed by the parents daily.
7. Parents or other persons are not allowed to meet their children or teachers during the school hours without the permission of the principal.
8. Parents are requested to collect the progress report of their ward on the dates referred to. The report card after being signed by the parents must be returned to the class teacher within three working days. It will be given finally after Annual Examination results.

RULES FOR DISCIPLINARY CONDUCT

♣ Discipline is the very soul of orderly corporate life and its infringement will not be entertained under any circumstances.
♣ Student should be habitually neat and clean and smartly dressed in school uniform.
♣ Every student must come punctually to school. The gates will be closed for late comers who will have to return home. Habitual late comers will be severely dealt with.
♣ Those using bicycles should keep them locked at the assigned parking place.
♣ No cash/money or other expensive articles should be brought to school. The college will not be responsible for any incurred by a pupil, if this is ignored.
♣ Defacing or damage to college property by a student will initiate serious disciplinary action apart from charging fine/cost of item.
♣ Students will not be called to answer telephone calls.
♣ Student selected for participation in any game or cultural activity will not remain absent without obtaining permission from the teacher in charge.
♣ College takes adequate care of its students and provides adequate first aid in case of emergency, yet it owes no responsibility for accidental injuries.
♣ The behaviour of the student should be correct and courteous both within and outside the college premises. An institution is judged by the conduct of its students.
♣ No student can be retained on the rolls of the college if his/her progress in studies is steadily unsatisfactory, if he/she fails in a class for two consecutive years, or if his/her presence in college is considered detrimental, unhealthy and harmful to other students.
♣ The Principal’s decision in all matters of discipline shall be final.
♣ The college management reserves the right to waive any of the rules contained in the prospectus without assigning any reason for their action.
♣ The interpretation of any rule in this prospectus as well as any amendment to it rests solely on the management of the college. Their decision will be final and binding on the parents/guardians.
